THE EMERGENCE OF POKE BOWL

Uncle Sharkii’s story began in February 2018, during a family gathering, a girl named Melody, was gifted a plush shark by her Uncle she never met. Melody and the "Uncle" became instant family! They celebrated by having snacks and drinking boba milk tea. The bonding of family resulted in the creation of UNCLE SHARKII. 

This intimate scene of family bonding over food was a memory the Founder and CEO of Uncle Sharkii - Fen Reyes could not shake from her head. That’s when she realized that she should frame her business around this memory. Uncle Sharkii is the bond between a girl and her uncle that shared the love of food, family, and of course, the gift of a plush shark!

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING & SUPPORT

For Domestic U.S Franchisees, they are required to complete our a training program composed of 68 Hours of Training at headquarters in San Francisco. 

Upon completion, franchisees will be prepared to handle all of Uncle Sharkii’s essential day-to-day operations. This includes how to open and close business operations, operate kitchen equipment, prepare poke bowls and boba teas, bookkeeping, following mandated protocols and compliances, and how to market your business. With straightforward recipes, every aspect of the Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar® franchise is designed to be efficient, profitable, and consistent for franchisees.
